SALT Health provided us with an exceptionally unique challenge: how do you market a brick and mortar healthcare and wellness provider that has yet to have the actual brick and mortar? The goal was to present SALT Health in such a way that would draw in memberships to its unique healthcare proposition as they continued to build the state-of-the-art facility in Bentonville, Arkansas. We were privileged to be a part of such an exciting venture from the beginning, and believe that the branding, the new website, collateral, etc., in collaboration with SALT Health’s executive team was the beginning of a great partnership.

Creative Process

Our relationship with SALT Health came out of a spirit of true partnership. When it became clear that the executive team was on their way to making their dream of a patient-centered, membership-based healthcare facility a reality, we started working with them to develop branding and consulting with them on next steps for building and marketing a brand for their business. The website was developed to provide integral information for future members and provide them with all the background details they needed to make a decision to be a part of this venture. Additional marketing materials such as brochures, ads, press releases, etc. came into play as well. Their final facility also served as a testament to their brand, incorporating their brand fonts in signage, as well as other elements (color and more) that held true to the branding.


Development: We developed a site architecture that would allow a visitor to understand the mission and benefit of SALT Health, while providing them helpful resources, ability to become a member and more. 
Content: We worked with SALT to develop strategic content that would explain their unique mission and value proposition in the healthcare arena. 
Technology: One of the most crucial elements was to tie membership into electronic medical records (EMR). We built a form that would allow visitors to not only become members through payment and registration, but also be automatically integrated into their eEMR software—this worked for individual and family on one go.


Branding: We developed complete brand guidelines for all of their digital and print marketing materials. 
PR: Because of CC’s reach in the region, we were able to help SALT position itself with its best foot forward as a new business in a booming area with stiff competition. 
Consulting: As a start-up ourselves, as well as a marketing partner to so many small businesses, we were able to help SALT establish best practices so they had a head start both in their marketing strategy and their new business.

Draw in potential members in advance of the state-of-the-art facility being complete and able to offer services. The phased-in approach meant that the site and other marketing efforts (including branding a new business and public relations at the groundbreaking) would be in place to offer substantial information to draw in potential members. Soon, the physician was able to start seeing patients in an alternate care setting, and then the building would open with additional services.


We were able to partner with the client to develop an extensive marketing program prior to the facility being complete, this included targeted PR, a robust marketing website with back-end technology to streamline the membership process and patient integration, and a role in helping execute key branding initiatives in the design and construction of the building itself.
